Bucks is apparently very good at fall
Pack it up, Vermont. Bucks County just landed No. 4 (we’ve been as high as #1!) on a national list of America’s best fall foliage destinations.
Yes, our county. The one where we spend half of October complaining about leaf cleanup.
Apparently, the rest of the country sees things differently. Historic towns, covered bridges, farms, river views, winding roads and enough colorful trees to make your social media pics look filtered.
There’s a dog gym in Bucks County
My dog has officially entered her wellness era.
DogVenture New Britain combines pet retail, grooming, self-wash and (because apparently dogs need to work on their core strength) a dog gym/enrichment space.
Meanwhile, some of us are still struggling to get 6,000 steps a day.
The concept is basically part pet store, part spa, part playground and part “your dog has a better social life than you do”.
Nuuly is bringing jobs (and saying no to data centers)
Falls Township may be getting a very different kind of giant warehouse.
Nuuly (clothing rental company) is moving forward with plans for a huge operations hub expected to bring thousands of jobs to the area.
But the really good part?
The deal includes a permanent prohibition on data centers at the site.
So instead of another building full of computers quietly eating electricity, we could get a giant building full of… pants.
We’re about 6 weeks away from that best in class fall foliage. With all the fall ball games we have upcoming, I’ll have a front row view week over week.
