Telford Homicide Investigation: The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office officially confirmed that the death of a 23-year-old woman found last weekend is now being investigated as a homicide.
Bristol Fire Company Merger: Plans are moving forward to consolidate four local fire companies (Bristol Fire, American Hose, Hook and Ladder, and Goodwill Hose) into one new $6 million facility. The borough recently secured $3.7 million in grants to jumpstart the project.
Bensalem “Havoc” Investigation: Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of juveniles reported to be creating “havoc” by banging on doors and leaving trash in neighborhoods near Kasmir and Alvin Avenues.
School Budget Deficit: The Bensalem School District is warning of a potential 4.2% tax increase (the state cap) to help address an $11.7 million budget gap for the upcoming year.
Consumer Alert: Bucks County Consumer Protection is warning residents about a “Distraint Warrant” scam. Letters from a fake “Benefits Suspension Unit” are circulating to trick people into calling a fraudulent toll-free number.

Historic Barn Sale: A massive multi-day sale featuring collectibles, furniture, and tools at 5113 Anderson Road, Doylestown (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Proceeds help preserve the 1850s-era barn.

Community Food Drive: Join the Lower Southampton Police and middle school students at the Giant Food Store on West Street Road to collect donations for the school food pantry.

Tip: If you’re heading toward Philadelphia this weekend, the Xfinity Mobile Arena is hosting NCAA March Madness games, so expect heavy traffic in the South Philly sports complex area.
